About Me

My name is Jacqueline White and I am a Ph.D Candidate and GAANN Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My primary research area is Usable Security and Privacy, which is the intersection between Human Computer Interaction and Security and Privacy. My current research focuses on mental models of security and privacy. I have a specific interest in device-specific mental models and the effect of these mental models on how users use their different devices and the security behaviors and mechanisms they utilize to protect their information.
